RPi Color Organ V2 Gerbers Sept 5
An educational project for Audio, using an XY-P40W Bluetooth receiver as the audio source. The circuit filters the Class D amplified signal back to a classic audio waveform that is fed to RC filters (high/medium/low frequency) which then drive LM3914/3915 LED driver circuits to achieve a VU meter effect. The reference voltage for the 3914 is adjustable with a pot.
It also includes an electret microphone circuit to respond to ambient noise and a Raspberry Pi Pico board to sample the audio waveform and drive WS2812B or other graphical displays.
There are many test points on the circuit for students to connect an oscilloscope probe to observe the changes in the waveforms as they travel through the various filters in the circuit.
Videos explaining the project will (eventually) be posted to https://www.youtube.com/dtengineering
