TP4056 + DW01-A Li-Po Battery Charger (BMS) 4.2V Variable Current (Max 1A)
The circuit utilises the TP4056 and DW01-A ICs to charge 3.7V Li-Po batteries.
The maximum theoretical charge current of 1A has been restricted to 710 mA for safety.
The variable resistance of R(prog) related to a max rated capacity, I(bat), of a 3.7V Li-Po battery, can be derived via the following formulas:
I (bat) <= ~ Capacity/2
I (bat) = 1200/[R (prog) + 1.6].
eg: 3.7V 1200mAh battery can be charged with 600 mA and for that, the R(prog) has to be set to 2kΩs (0.4kΩ + 1.6kΩ).
