Servo Tester
My project is about building a DIY servo tester. A servo tester is a device used to manually control and test servo motors. It allows users to adjust the position of the servo motor's shaft and test its range of motion.
I decided to make a DIY servo tester because it offers a cost-effective solution for testing and controlling servo motors. Commercial servo testers can be expensive, and building one myself allows me to customize it to my specific needs and learn more about the inner workings of servo motors and electronic control systems.
The DIY servo tester typically consists of a microcontroller , a potentiometer or rotary encoder for user input, and circuitry to generate the appropriate PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signals to control the servo motor. The microcontroller reads the input from the user interface (potentiometer or encoder) and converts it into PWM signals, which are then sent to the servo motor. As the user adjusts the input, the servo motor responds by moving its shaft accordingly, allowing for testing and control of its position.
