Description
How to use AI to program a 2DOF ROBOT- Arduino+ pyhton+opencv+chatgp+ps3eyecam
The challenge was to obtanin a mix of code generated by chatgpt for pyhton, opencv, and arduino and finally get a 2DOF robot operational. It was a complete success. in less than five minutes our partner gave us the code to adjust and test.
Hardware was as simple as possible:
- two mg996r servos
-12 V power source
-Step down power to move from 12 to 6.5 V
- one Arduino Mega
-one bluetooth module HC-05
-One tab to implement and app from MIT app inventor
-Ones ps3eyecam
-4 posickle sticks
-Jumpers
Software
- Pyhton
- Arduino
- Opencv
- USBlib for ps3eyecam
- Ps3eyecam do no work directly, fron python, you need to do some software installation, ask me and I help to fix it.ps3eyecam is useful because can get 60 fps and up to 120 fps @320x240 resolution.
The blocks of this DOF robot are:
- workspace depicted fr this particular D 2DOF configuration
- got directly to differnent speed to coordiantes sent from an app receiving thers and calibration the positions
- rudimentary integration with an Air Hockey robot implementation
- other your creativity can generate
