Control board for pumps, fans and servos for electric boat - Switch board
Switch board provides possibility for pilot to choose either to control fan and pump systems manually or automatically using microcontroller STM32F446RE. Each pump and fan is connected to separate three state switch, which determines their operating mode. Switch board contains four pumps and four fans, which work in pairs. What is more, board is equipped with 2 different types of water sensors: capacitive and resistive. Each of them is used to prevent electronical devices from being exposed to contact with water. One of the most crucial tasks of switch board is to provide current measurements from servos and pumps. Moreover, switch board contains CAN transceiver for general communication purposes. The board is equipped with step-down converter which decreases the input voltage from 12 V to 3.3V, which is the supply voltage for microcontroller and most of integrated circuits. To supply CAN transceiver, which needs 5V supply voltage, Low-dropout regulator is used.
